Also, have a lot of juices and soups that are prepared from fruits and vegetables as they will provide you with tons of energy, the necessary nutrients and help treat constipation. Another effective pregnancy constipation treatment is to include ginger as much as possible in your everyday diet as ginger aids in proper digestion of food and also helps to treat gas and acidity related problems. Similarly, you can even prepare ginger tea to help alleviate the problem. You also need to make sure to eliminate certain foods to prevent constipation. These would include starchy foods, cheese, corn, food that is fried and so on. Make sure that you do not take any medicines without the doctor’s prescription as they can be extremely harmful to your baby and can cause unnecessary complications. You can try to lie down on either side each time you feel you are getting cramps in your stomach.
