Natural Treatment For Intestinal Parasites

Parasites or worms can easily enter the human intestine through food and water. Mostly, it is the lack of proper hygiene that causes parasites to invade the body. Eating with unwashed hands, not washing vegetables properly before cooking, eating stale or contaminated food and frequently picking your nose are the major ways in which intestinal parasites enter the body. The chief kinds of parasites that are found in the human intestine are tapeworm, roundworm, threadworm and hookworm. Children are generally more vulnerable to intestinal worms. The most important ways to prevent this condition are to wash fruits and vegetables very thoroughly before eating or cooking, drinking pure water, cooking meat products very well and of course maintain personal hygiene. Drinking plenty of water also helps flush out toxins from the body and naturally cleanses the intestines. Besides these, there are a few very effective home remedies to treat intestinal parasites. Soak a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in a cup of water overnight and eat them the next morning. Also, make sure that you drink the water. In a few weeks, you will be ridden of intestinal worms. Using cloves in your cooking as a condiment is another useful way of treating worms. The strong smelling chemicals in cloves help destroy the eggs laid by the parasites inside the intestines. Eating a few pieces of raw cloves during every meal is also highly helpful in this regard.

Just like cloves, garlic also has natural odorous juices that help kill intestinal parasites. Grate and pulp a few pieces of garlic and consume the juice extracted from them 2-3 times a day to destroy worms. For another remedy, make a paste by grinding pumpkin seeds and a few slices on onion in soy milk and consume this mixture every day. Another easy way of getting rid of intestinal parasites is to fry the seeds of bitter gourd in ghee for a few minutes and then eating them thrice every day. The seeds of bitter gourd have natural detoxifying properties which help kill the worms inside the intestines. Eating a couple of tomatoes every morning on an empty stomach is also known to be useful in treating worms. Eating a pineapple every day at breakfast is also an effective remedy for intestinal parasites.
