Nausea

My grandmother has always made me drink a soda. It either settles my stomach or makes me actually vomit. Either way, I always feel better. Oddly enough, it was also good for indigestion when I overeat.

Cola Syrup
suggested by [unspecified] on Tuesday, February 27, 2007
Cola Syrup works like a miracle for mild nausea. It's non-toxic and even fine for children and pregnant women. Cola Syrup comes in a small bottle and is labeled "Cola Syrup"...not to be confused with Coca Cola...Cola Syrup is non-carbonated and not a soft drink, but a syrup. It's a little hard to find. I used to see Cola Syrup in drug stores. I can't find it anywhere anymore except at Drugstore.com. I always keep a bottle on hand.

Large Marshmallows for nausea
suggested by Faith
on Thursday, February 22, 2007
When I was pregnant with my third child I had morning sickness for the first time. I found that the large marshmallows had a double blessing, the sugar content- carbohydrate, and the coating-bakingsoda, both helps with nausea. Now, understand, I am not one to sit around eating large marshmallows all the time, but for the kind of nausea I had I was willing to try anything. THIS WORKED. Try it.

baking soda and lemon juice
suggested by [unspecified] on Tuesday, February 6, 2007
I always use this and it works fine. I learned this remedy in Algeria. One teaspoon of baking soda with few drops of lemon juice, mixed in less than half cup of water. A few burps and all that nausea has gone away!
