Non carbonated syrup is a concentrated source of simple carbohydrates which when ingested helps in nausea. 1-2 tbsp should be ingested at regular intervals. A non carbohydrate syrup can be a simple sugar solution in water or non carbonated soft drink or even ginger root and sugar syrup in water. It should be preferably taken at room temperature to settle the stomach.
