I have been plagued with leg cramps. I was told to put a bar of ivory soap in my bed. I did this and haven't has leg cramps for two months. Did the soap help? Don't know but it didn't hurt.

Leg Pain and Cramps
suggested by [unspecified] on Tuesday, February 27, 2007
I'm not sure if what I have is typical, but I suffered from constant leg and foot cramps and pain. My feet cramped non-stop 24/7. I could hardly sleep. The only thing that helps me is Stuart Prenatal Vitamins. In fact, no other vitamin even works...I've tried just about all of them.
I'm not sure this will work for everyone, but I couldn't even walk without these vitamins. (I have to take 2 pills a day.)

You may think this is crazy. I was getting cramps in my toes every night. My husband would get leg
cramps every once in a while. Some one told us to put a bar of soap in the bed. I put it in a sock and between us. We haven't had cramps since.Crazy but it's working for us so far.
p.s. Once my husband had bad leg cramps. As soon as his teeth touch a banana it stoped.

I have been a nurse for 30 yrs, and have always used calcium and potassium . My doctor told me to try magnesium tablets. I use 2 tablets of 250 mg each night. Now all my friends and family swear by it. I would increase the dose if you perspire alot, or work outside on a hot day.

RESTLESS LEGS
suggested by a.
on Sunday, February 4, 2007
My husband had restless legs that every 40 seconds he would wiggle his legs at night. If he takes 1,000 mg Calcium AND 400 mg Magnesium a day he has no leg cramp problems. (2 pills at bedtime and 1 am)
