Best remedy for constipation is drinking any herbal tea at bed time till the bowl movement is free. You can discontinue after seeing the result and start as and when required.

500grams prunes simmered in a litre of prune juice and a litre of apple juice. simmer until prune skins are soft. Add 300grams All Bran stir and then blend until smooth. Adults 2tbspn morning and night and infant/children 2tspn morning and night.
My daughter who is now 2and a half years old has had nothing but trouble with severe constipation as long as I can remember. Now since using this recipie morning and night she NEVER has a problem. The fact that a child will eat this means that it does not taste bad......

Pears
suggested by [unspecified] on Tuesday, June 12, 2007
i had this feeling of not complete bowel movement - like a full butt and sore.
3 pears over 2 days did the trick with drinking 4-5 pints of water a day too.
what a relief!

Colonix
suggested by [unspecified] on Monday, June 4, 2007
I tried a one month Colonix... the problem, for me, was a build-up of waste that was stuck in my intestines and was blocking the flow of bile, but also the absorbtion of nutrients. After doing this I had a flatter stomach but also did not crave sweets anymore. Thank goodness.

Everyone said I am dieting because I wanted to be slim... Everone said I kept on trying different types of laxative teas and pills because I wanted to be slim.. I am indeep very upset since young.. Nobody believe in me.. Nobody offer any help but instead, they laugh at me.. I have a difficult time coping with constipation since young... I would to share my new way in helping me with my constipation. It's the boxthorn fruit. Atype of herb that I will boil and drink as a soup three times a week. It has a high content in Vitamin A and many antiOxidants.. Try this out if other matters failed... Don't give up until you find something that suit you and could help you... Our body is different and not all could be help using the same technic... so do not give up.. Keep trying and live a better, healthy life.. Buddy... sincerely wishing everyone a happy day ahead..

The Flax Cracker Cure
suggested by Nashira
on Tuesday, May 8, 2007
I cannot remember a time in my life when I was not constipated. Prunes?! I laugh! I once used a special tea guaranteed to work and when it didn't I called the maker and they could not believe it. Believe me, I know what it's like to live with constipation and to have tried EVERYTHING! I even went all raw for a year...some relief but still went days without (you know). During the raw trial I stumbled upon flax see crackers. The ones I bought at the store tasted horrible but I went home and started making my own (yummy). If I miss a day of eating a handfull of flax crackers then I will miss a day of (you know). They work better than anything I've ever tried. The easiest and tastiest way I make them is to take equal amounts of golden flax seed (because the golden ones taste better than the brown ones) and water and soak overnight. Then mix crushed garlic, ginger, soy sauce (I use Nama Shoyu) and fresh lemon juice. Spread the "batter" onto cookie sheet lined w/parchment paper and dry in low heat oven or dehydrate in dehydrator until crunchy.
