Super Dieters Tea
suggested by joyce
on Sunday, April 29, 2007
This is in response to the person writing the "Sort of Home Remedie on March 4, 2007.
I drank this tea for 17 years and just about ruined my large intestine. This tea has Senna in it which is very bad for you. The Senna made my large intestine not do the work it needed to in order to push the fecal matter through. I would consider other alternatives than this tea.

Constipation
suggested by elbert
on Wednesday, January 3, 2007
An awareness that during sleep your mind provides desired outcomes to ones problems and goals causes one to sleep and relax excellently. This elimate constipation that is caused or aided by stress. I learned this from a book written by Dr. Maxwell Maltz in the early or mid seventies. Prior to reading his book I had chronic constipation. I had to have my appendix removed at about age ten or 11. Until I read your section on appendix I always associated it with eating too much blueberry pie. My doctors said they did not know its cause. I believe prune juice should be higher on your list. It is the onlything that has never failed me.

Natural Laxative: Prunes
suggested by Scarlet
on Tuesday, October 31, 2006
Prunes are an effective way to stop constipation. You can find this tasty fruit at your local grocery store or famers market. When using it as a laxative, you can have it either cooked, raw or pureed. Personally, I like drinking it because it's easier to consume a larger quantity (1 glass) of it when my constipation is stubborn. The amount taken really depends on the severity of your constipated. It you aren't sure have 1 cup of prune juice and increase the amount if it doesn't get better that day. Also try eating or drinking some prunes eat day to help with your body pass a bowel for maintance.

Remedy for constipation
suggested by Catherine
on Thursday, September 1, 2005
I have found that a coffee enema is very helpful in cleaning the digestive tract of toxins, and in inducing the liver to dump excess toxins into the bowel for excretion. I add about 3-4 tablespoons coarse-grind coffee and a pinch of salt to about 4-5 cups of water, bring to boil, then simmer 15 minutes. Then allow to cool to room temp, and filter through cheesecloth. Pour into enema bag and take the enema. Then rest, lying on left side, for 15-20 minutes, keeping warm, before evacuating the enema. A nice warm bath afterwards revives my energy.
