Scared of sagging skin? Toners are used after a cleanser and are used to nurture, enhance and rejuvenate skin (Toners). It is a cosmetic skin product used to lighten your skin and keep them firm and clear, by increasing blood circulation. They are analogous to skin lighteners. Aging results in loss of skin elasticity. Toners contain rose water, boric acid, glycerin, menthol, witch hazel, camphor and alum. Alcohol is also present and the drying effect dissuades you from using them on a dry skin. They bring back the acidity or alkalinity of the skin, and thereby tone the skin. Your face is ready for a make-up, after the use of a moisturizer and toner. Many believe that a toner closes the pores, though the fact remains that pore size cannot be altered by toners. Though irritation and inflammation are possible, pore size remains unaffected. Think about the exorbitant prices, you pay through your nose, to buy these commercially available products. Check out these home-made toners and save your skin and your pockets!!!
