Application of ice is known to be very effective in reducing swelling and pain and one of the beneficial home remedies for mouth blisters. You may also place a moist tea bag against the blister for about ten minutes. This helps to reduce inflammation. Witch hazel is a beneficial herb which can be used to treat sores and blisters. Application of salt also helps to reduce infection. Another effective remedy for mouth blisters can be made by boiling a teaspoon of coriander seeds in water. Gargling with this solution twice every day helps to reduce irritation and pain caused by mouth blisters. You can also chew on some holy basil leaves to alleviate the discomfort causes by mouth sores and ulcers. To prevent mouth blisters, it is important to consume a healthy, balanced diet.
