Tea Tree Oil
suggested by [unspecified] on Tuesday, April 22, 2008

I wash my feet with anti-bacterial soap and dry them completely. I then wipe the entire nail with bleach on a q-tip. After that has dried I add a few drops of tea tree oil. After that has dried I coat with vapor rub. I do this 2x's a day.I also let me feet breathe whenever I can. So far its been a week and My nails are almost clear. Its worth a try.

Alcohol
suggested by cass on Tuesday, April 22, 2008

I applied 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. I rubbed it in where the nail and skin meet and under the nail as best I could. It took several days to see any results but, as the nails grew out they were the normal pinkish color nails are supposed to have and not the yellow color that the nails were. I applied the alcohol first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. As an experiment I stopped using the alcohol on one of the nails and the fungus started to spread out on that nail. From that point on, I never missed a treatment. I have had the fungus on each of my big toe nails for years and had not previously tried any remedy. Each of the nails were yellow and thick. This remedy is easy and very cost effective.

Chloraseptic
suggested by John on Friday, April 4, 2008

I have had toenail fungus on one great toe for 30 years or more and never paid much attention. Then I noticed it on the other foot. I looked and all I had was chloraseptic mouth spray. I sprayed both toes and within two hours, I noticed that the build up under the toes was drying up and the old scaly top layer on one toe became loose and I was able to remove a dime sized piece of dead nail. It is not "like new" yet but the changes are obvious. I do not have the foggiest notion of how or why it worked. I tried it on a lark and am pleased with the result. Take care to wipe the excess off or you will wind up with green spots on the carpet

suggested by Vickie on Saturday, February 16, 2008

I started using bleach water to clean tea-stained jars. Within 2 months, my nail fungus on my thumb nails was gone! I had lived with these ugly painful thumb nails for 20 years. Using bleach water and Dawn dish soap was the only thing I could contribute this cure to.

Vicks Vaporub
suggested by [unspecified] on Saturday, October 27, 2007

I use vick's vapor- rub on my toes as many times a day as I can. This has really cleared up my toenails and also helps my feet from being tired. I cover my feet at night before going to bed and then put on socks.

nail fungus cured with yeast infection meds
suggested by [unspecified] on Sunday, October 7, 2007

Just wanted to share that I (after 5 years of trying EVERYTHING including lamisil 3x)have cured my nail fungus with over the counter vaginal yeast infection medicine. I bought the tube (1 day cure) and used several times per week at bedtime. I had tried vinegar, bleach, and everything available in the drugstore. Also went to 3 different dermatologists who said one of my nails would never grow out after 5 years. Guess what, it has!! Who would have thought! I hope this helps someone else. Good luck!
