Chest Wrinkles Home Remedies

Posted in Category : Natural Cures

Wrinkles are a natural phenomenon that happens with growing age. As we grow the skin starts losing its suppleness – it becomes drier, thinner, and begins to lose its natural elasticity. As a result, the skin becomes more vulnerable to damages and begins to show up wrinkles and creases. Wrinkles can appear anywhere in the body – the face, around the eye, near the mouth, neck, chest, or any other part of the skin. However, the wrinkles generally start appearing first around our face and they naturally get more attention.

Wrinkles due to old age are unavoidable, but sometimes we also get premature wrinkles due to a variety of reasons. Excessive exposure to sun, heavy smoking, and increased pollution level can bring about premature wrinkles. Also, it is important to note that not everybody may experience wrinkles around the same age. Much of our skin texture is a result of our inherent genetics, which is quite different for each person, and therefore ageing of skin happens differently to different people.

Although wrinkles cannot be erased altogether there are a few home remedies that might be of some help. Here are a few of them:

  • Apply a good amount of moisturizer daily to your skin. Massage the skin on your chest with creams, lotions, and oils regularly. Moisturizers containing Vitamin E oil are known to be particularly effective as a wrinkle remedy. Dry skin is the primary reason for wrinkles and therefore it is important to apply moisturizers to avoid dry skin. For avoiding dry skin, you should also make a habit of drinking adequate amount of water in a day.
  • Mix turmeric powder and sugarcane juice and make a paste. Apply this paste and let it dry up on the skin and then wash off with clean water.
  • Rub slices of freshly cut vegetables (cucumber, potato, tomato) regularly on the skin. Pulp of papaya or ripe banana can also be applied on the wrinkles.
  • Eat lots of green vegetables and fresh fruits and avoid smoking altogether. Alcohol and caffeinated drinks are also to be consumed in moderation.

There are also a lot of medical treatments available in the form of medication and surgical procedures. However, do understand that none of these will erase your wrinkles for good; you will need to go through these treatments repeatedly. Besides, some of these methods may have adverse effect on your body, and it is better to discuss all these aspects with the doctor before adopting any of these treatments.
