How to get better eye vision

The advent of the door to door technology age and the dependence on appliances like television, and more recently computers, has led us to a very unhealthy lifestyle. These practices involve spending excessive time peering at television screens, working on computers in the office and, in case of children, games. These unhealthy practices have inextricably intertwined themselves with the way we live now, as a result of which our health gets penalized because of our habits.
Our eyes are not only amongst the most delicate organs of our body that require constant care and attention but also the most useful of them, as they allow us to see the world as we do. However a little care and a mild change in our lifestyle can help us keep our vision healthy, and some remedies can even help us improve it.
Nature’s answer to most of our vision-related problems comes from the wide stock of natural resources like fruits and vegetables that are rich sources of vitamin A. Carrots not only provide us with a rich supply of vitamin A, but are also among the tastiest and most popular fruits. A glass of carrot juice for your kids in the morning will not only work wonders for their eyes but also make them keep coming back for more. You have to keep these things in mind when you are dealing with young ones who don’t like to be reasoned with. A few other rich sources of vitamin A are cucumber, spinach (which also happens to be a rich source of vitamin B, C and iron) and lettuce. Fresh milk and milk cream can also play an important role in improving your vision. Most of these foods can be found in almost any supermarket around the block.
Making slight changes in the arrangement of your drawing room furniture that allows a distance of 5 meters between your couch and television can also prevent you from the harmful effects of close exposure to the light coming from it. You should also frequently take breaks if your work entails that you continuously need to look at your computer screen. Of course, the break should not be spent playing a computer game. Instead, get up and look out of your window at distant objects. In addition, after an intense and strenuous session of work, ablution of eyes with clarified butter or a few drops of honey will not only relax your tired eyes but also help you restore the clarity of the world that you see around yourself.
