You must bear in mind the fact that a healthy diet coupled with a proper lifestyle goes a long way to help you improve and sustain a proper healthy visual system. Naturally then, you need to reduce the stress that you subject your eyes to. Cut down on television, take time off to simply sit still and meditate with your eyes closed.


Exercise regularly. Exercise regulates the blood flow to the various parts of the eyes. Besides all this, remember to quit smoking.


Smoking is your number one enemy when it comes to taking care of your vision.

Once you have taken care of the smoking, you must also pay attention to your diet as well. Plan a diet consisting of foods that are wholesome, organic and above all, fresh. Start off with vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, grains, and seeds. In addition to that, remember to include ingredients that provide a rich amount of multivitamins and minerals. Minerals you can source from sea vegetables.

In addition to this, your diet should also include antioxidants. Antioxidants, such as research indicates helps to keep your vision the way it's supposed to be. Sunlight is a nutrient also helps to keep the eyes proper. And since it's free, there is no excuse to not make use of it. So, try to take out an hour and spend that hour basking in the sun. Also, include morning and evening walks in your hectic schedule. These walks, in the Sun of course, will help keep your eyes in good health.

Apart from this, you can also make it a point to have a sizeable number of apples and grapes. These fruits are known to have nutritive properties that help you improve your eyesight. Blueberry juice is also known to have medicinal values that help you improve your vision. Lastly, remember that of all the vitamins that you supply your body with, vitamin A is the one that assists the eyes. And vitamin A is found in a sizeable quantity in carrots. Hence, do remember to include carrots in your diet as well.
