I Have A Rash On My Face But I Dont Know What It Is. I Was Itching One Night And The Next Morning There Was A Rash. It Appeared Out Of Nowhere. I Also Have It On My Leg?

If you have developed a sudden rash, there could be any number of reasons for it. It could be that you have eaten or drunk something that did not agree with you, or that you have touched something that has triggered off an allergic reaction, or you have tried on a new material that did not suit your skin, or you are reacting to heat. Basically, there is no end to the number of reasons that could have led to this rash. Since you are still in the beginning stages of this rash, it would be advisable for you to go and see a doctor. This way, you will get a proper diagnose and then you can follow treatment accordingly, which is the best way to go.

There are some general guidelines you can stick to for an unexplained rash, however. The first thing to do would be to ensure that you try to bring the temperature of your skin down. For this, you can make a mix of a quarter part rose water and three fourth parts yogurt and apply on the rash. Wash this off after about 15 to 20 minutes. As an alternative for momentary relief, you can also apply ice compresses. Another effective method to cleanse and sanitize your rash would be to apply some diluted hydrogen peroxide to it. Make a mix of one part hydrogen peroxide and 10 parts of water for this purpose. Chilled fresh cream will help heal rashes as well. You can also apply a bit of turmeric powder which has been mixed with clarified butter to your rash. This has anti septic properties that will help to heal the area considerably. Alternately, you can also drink a glass of hot milk everyday, with half a teaspoon of turmeric powder added to it. This will heal your rashes from within as well.
