Apply paste made from the leaves and stem of the Jewelweed plant (also called as ‘touch-me-not’ plant) on the affected area. Wash the infected area as quickly as you can with cool, clean water. And apply the paste.
When rash appears, rub rind of watermelon, lemon, banana skin or orange to get immediate relief. If itching still continues, make a paste of water and either baking soda or cornstarch.
Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Dab it on the affected skin area with cotton swab and allow to dry. Do this several times as needed for relief.
