I had curly & wavy hair so I straightened it in parlour. It should stay for 6 months but most of its effect was gone in the first wash itself & after that my hair started falling & isn't stopping. What should I do?

Repair Damaged Hair

Firstly report the bad work in the parlor to the head, often when correct methods are not used you don't reap any results. A chemical treatment causes hair to become weak and fall. Try the following home remedies to gain the strength back in your hair -

  • Lavender oil helps significantly for hair loss. Massage your scalp thrice every week (alternate days) with lavender oil, this will promote circulation of blood under your scalp and reduce hair fall.
  • Use a natural shampoo and conditioner to wash your hair. Soak few sapindus mucorosai pods at night and wash your hair with this solution next day morning. For conditioner similarly soak dried indian gooseberry in water overnight
  • Massage your hair with hot coconut or olive oil for 15 minutes, then wrap a hot towel on the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. This when done once a week on regular basis will help improve your hair condition. Use a hat or carry an umbrella when you step out in sun.
