Panic attacks health advice

Panic attack is a sudden flow of fear that prompts severe physical reactions in the body. These attacks can happen anytime, anywhere, and without any obvious reason. Some of the common symptoms of a panic attacks are raging heartbeat, hot flushes, nausea, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, choking, chest pains, trembling, or sweating.

Unfortunately there is no absolute cure for this disorder. Panic attack sufferers have to experience the attacks to know their individual symptoms. Each person has a unique set of symptoms that they need to identify in order to deal with the problem.

However, there are some medicines available to curb panic attacks, but such medicines are usually not encouraged due to their undesirable side effects.

To deal with panic attacks, you must first try to reduce stress and make some basic lifestyle changes. Cut down on alcohol and caffeine, reduce your intake of sugar-related and fatty products as these products build up tension within your body's system, eat a balanced diet and at regular intervals, and drink lots of water. Exercise will help you calm down and work off stress. Meditation also helps in reducing the stress levels. Consult a doctor and based on your symptoms, plan an exercise routine.
