Types of Stomach Cancer


There are three main types of stomach cancer -

  • Gastric stromal tumors are tumors which develop in the stomach wall tissues.
  • Lymphomas are primarily cancers of the immune system that also develop on the walls of the stomach.
  • Carcinoid tumors occur in the hormone producing cells of the stomach.
