Posted in Category : Bone, Joint & Muscles Disorders

Muscle aches are a very common problem to suffer from and can also be the result of a number of underlying conditions prevalent in the body. Having a very strenuous schedule on a daily basis can take its toll on your muscles and the aches can be nothing more than the result of wear and tear or an excessive burden on them. However, the aches could also equally likely be the result of suffering from the flu, arthritis or stress. If the condition is chronic, the most likely cause is arthritis. Arthritis is a condition that encompasses a number of disorders that affect the muscles and joints. When suffering from arthritis, the patient is likely to experience a limited ability to move his joints while the affected joints will also appear inflamed, swollen, tender and warm to touch. Under normal circumstances, the joint is surrounded by a protective capsule that holds a lubricating fluid that aids the motion of the joint. A certain amount of cartilage is also present around the joints to smoothen movement and, when affected by arthtitis, it is normally this cartilage that is destroyed, usually as a result of trams, wear and tear or simple genetics. Because of the fact that we live such hectic daily lives, arthritis is a very common condition to suffer from once a person turns about 50 years of age.

However, arthritis is a common condition and experienced all over the world. There are therefore a number of treatment options that are rather effective in reducing the effect the condition has on your life and then completely eradicate it. It is important to remember that the condition happens to be chronic and a number of changes in the treatment you are on are not uncommon. One of the most effective treatments for arthritis is to mix 1 teaspoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a glass of warm water and drink this concoction on a daily basis, first thing in the morning. Another option would be to add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to a couple of teaspoons of honey in a glass of warm water and consume it on a daily basis. Your diet plays a very important role in fighting off the condition and increasing your intake of minerals, proteins and vitamins is essential. You should also be sure to maintain your stress levels while the omega 3 fatty acids in fish are also known to be very beneficial.
