Boils in the mouth could be caused by staph infections and even viral diseases like herpes. The treatment of these boils and sores is usually dependent on the causes of the boils. If the sores and boils are caused by a broken or sharp tooth, you would need to get an oral examination performed.
Ill-fitting dentures may also cause sores and boils in the mouth. The dentist would take an oral examination and fit you with new dentures. Biting your tongue, cheek or lip could also cause sores. Treating this habit would require behavior modification. There are many types of sores in the mouth. Apart from infections and injuries due to dentures, sores and blisters in the mouth could also result from burning the delicate skin with hot foods or beverages. People who chew a lot of tobacco may also develop sores and boils in their mouth.
Cold sores occur due to herpes virus. This may have to be treated with antiviral medications. These cold sores are untreatable using natural methods, but with good management, the discomfort caused by them can be minimized. There are some home remedies that can help soothe the sores in mouth. Coriander powder is one of the best remedies for such sores. Simply apply the powder on these sores and blisters to decrease the pain and discomfort.

How to treat a mouth gum boil at home?
Gum boils are usually a result of periodontal disease or gum abscesses. There are a lot of ways to approach mouth blisters treatment. However, before you try to self-medicate or use home remedies for mouth blister treatment, visit a doctor and get their professional opinions. Problems in your gums could quickly move on to damage your teeth and the underlying nerves. Some of remedies for treating mouth sores are as follows:
- You can use a mixture of baking soda and cooking salt to soothe the blisters on your gums. Simply take a piece of cotton wool, soak it in clean water, and use this wet piece of cotton wool to apply the salt and baking powder on your boils and ulcers. You can also leave the cotton ball in your mouth so that the baking soda and salt mix does not get washed away.
- You can also use a tea bag and place it into your mouth, right against the cheek. You can use a green tea bag like lemon grass, rosemary, chamomile, and lavender. If the tea bag becomes soggy, you may have to remove the bag and replace it. After a period of time, you may see a marked improvement in the boil. If there is pus in your abscess or boil, you may have to remove the pus by pushing the boil and draining it.

What causes sores in mouth?
Sores in the mouth can be really uncomfortable and painful. Some of the most common causes of mouth sores include bacterial infections in the mouth, emotional stress, dietary deficiencies, especially a lack of vitamin B 12 in the diet, canker sores as also certain food allergies. Besides these the other common causes of mouth sores include viral infections which cause boils in the mouth, substance abuse, especially abuse with tobacco, and rinsing your mouth with mouthwash that contains concentrated amounts of sodium lauryl sulfate.
The symptoms of mouth sores are usually dependent on its cause. Some diseases that could cause ulceration in the mouth as well as sores include Behcet’s syndrome, yeast infection known as candiasis, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, AIDS and HIV and herpes, diseases. Ill-fitting dentures and braces, oral cancers, serious infections that could damage the lining of the cheeks and mouth, loss of tooth, periodontal disease, broken tooth, and other oral infections can also result in sores.
An injury to the face, like a blow, could cause also damage to the teeth and the inner lining of your mouth. This can cause sores and ulcers in the mouth as well. Sores in the mouth therefore is a common ailment but should not be taken lightly in the event if it does not heal.

Are there any home remedies for boils in mouth?
There are several natural remedies for mouth sores that you can effectively use within your home. If you are looking for simple ways to get rid of mouth sores, you can use an over the counter chloraseptic spray. This spray will numb the sores immediately. You can also apply a few drops of genetian violet solution on the sores. Fill your mouth with water and then rinse the inside of your mouth. Keep this solution in your mouth for a few minutes before spitting it out.
Take a few leaves of sweet basil and chew them for some time. Allow the juices from these basil leaves to slosh around in your mouth. It will soothe the pain and discomfort caused by the sores in your mouth. You can also use some pure salt on your mouth abscesses. You can also make a solution of equal parts of sodium bicarbonate, cooking salt, and water. Rinse your mouth with this solution to soothe the ulcers and sores inside your mouth. Take a small amount of powdered alum and mix it with a spoonful of honey. Mix it well, and apply it on the sores inside your mouth. You can use a clean cloth to apply this in your mouth. Consult your doctor if the natural remedies for mouth sores do not work well.

you have a staff inf. You can use hot Epsom salt water hold in mouth as long as it is warm then do it again for 15 min at least at a time several times a day you can also use peroxide it will boil out the inf. it will burn bad.
