Avoid any stimulating foods which contain caffeine --coffee, green tea, etc.  Also avoid sugar, dairy, alcohol etc.  Since these foods often adversely affect immune function.  Ensure you are taking probiotics to maintain intestinal integrity.  The function of the digestive system is integrally related to the immune function.

Foods which are supportive of hyperthyroid include all cruciferous vegetables (brocolli, cabbage, brussel's sprouts, cauliflower etc.) kale, spinach, turnips, soybeans, mustard greens etc.   Please consider seeking the advice of a trained health care professional to help you develop an integrative plan.  http://www.countrydoc.com

Cabbage and all cabbage family vegetables are good in reducing thyroid activity - you would also find yoga helpful for your condition especially shoulder stand and plough postures if you have no other problems that would preclude your doing these asanas.
