If you are suffering from Psoriasis, you would have to take some stronger measures to take care of the problem. The only treatments available that can actually cure you of this disease are available in the streams of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medication. Modern medicine offers no cure for this disease. Instead you will be given a runabout of various kinds of measures to suppress the problem. Just remember that ultimately, they will boomerang on you and cause you further grief. The only cures available can sometimes run into taking years to treat and remove the problem from the roots. Most of the time, you will have to follow very strict dietary control in addition to medication as well. One of the rules in treating psoriasis is that the patient cannot eat any kind of spice at all, as even a gram of spice will only serve to magnify the problem. You can apply cashew nut oil to areas that are particularly itchy and this will soothe tremendously. Alternately, you can also apply avocado oil, which is known to help with treating psoriasis.

If you are suffering from eczema, on the other hand, you should know that it is one of those diseases that takes care of itself after a while. You can employ certain simple home remedies to get rid of the stronger symptoms like itching and burning. Make a paste of sandalwood powder and rose water and rub this on particularly itchy parts for relief from itching. Crush a tomato and add a pinch of nutmeg powder to itchy spots. This supposedly helps to get rid of eczema. You can also apply chilled milk to your body for soothing relief. Try not to eat sour foods, as they have a tendency to add to the itching caused by eczema.
