Treatment for underweight women



Home Treatment:

  • Banana or mango milk shake consumption(the fruits provide sugar whereas milk provides protein thereby exists a symbiotic relationship)
  • 30 gms of raisins per day
  • Three soaked dried figs can be eaten twice daily
  • Musk melon for a period of 40 days.


Other Suggestions:

  • Exercises increase appetite & thereby improve food consumption
  • Yoga ( Sarvangasana, Halasana and Matsyasana)
  • Small and frequent meals.
