Sore treatment

I am also getting open types of sores along my belt line on my stomach. I am morbidly obese and am pretty certain this is related - but what is it, what can be done?
(21 Jan 2008)

The sores along your belt line might be due to skin sensitivity. Another possible reason is that you might be wearing tight clothing. Thefirst and foremost thing to do is to determine if you are wearing tight trousers or over tightening your belt.

If this is the reason, wear proper size trousers and tie your belt loosely. If the sores are not because of this reason, consult your health care provider for a skin sensitivity test. Other medical reasons could be some sort of skin disorders, some disease or ailment, and a prolonged sore throat. Also, as mentioned, it could be due to the layering of the skin, particularly if these sores are occurring in the folds of the skin. When it comes to types of sore throats and types of mouth sores, here are some of the common reasons.
  • Bacterial or viral infection
  • Cold sores due to the herpes virus
  • Excessive smoking
  • Family history
  • Some other prolonged diseases or ailment
If you are experiencing the problem of sore throat for quite some time, you should get diagnosed for the cause and type of sore throat. Usually, most people tend to ignore such ailments as they feel that it is not that serious. Also, do seek medical attention for the sores on your belt line as this is not common.
