Treatment for urine leakage

If you are facing the problem of urinary leakage, the first thing you must do is get a medical examination in order to determine the reasons for your condition. There could be various factors that have led to your condition. If you have been recently pregnant, then a certain amount of urinary incontinence when you laugh hard or sneeze is fairly common. However, this should not continue after you have delivered. If it does, then you need to do some basic exercises in order to teach your muscles control again. These are known as Kegel's exercises, and your gynaecologist will be able to properly guide you about the manner and frequency with which they are to be done. These exercises should help you and you will see a noticeable change anytime between three to six weeks.

The other problem that you could be facing is one of loss of nerve sensation in the bladder. If this is the case, a doctor can guide you better, since any cure would depend upon the cause of the problem. You could also be facing a problem of an overactive bladder, which would not only make you go to the toilet more than 10 times a day; it could also cause involuntary leakage. This is also a condition that will need to be treated under medical supervision, since home remedies cannot help you here either.
