Prevention for Breast Cancer

There is no guaranteed way of preventing breast cancer. The most you can do is reduce the risk factors and conduct regular breast exams and mammograms to ensure early detection and treatment of the disease. More radical preventative measures for breast cancer include medication or chemo prevention and preventative surgery. The risks and benefits of either alternative would need to be discussed with your doctor.
