Crows Feet Wrinkles
Wrinkles and creases that form on the face, especially around the eyes, are referred to as crow’s feet. Crow’s feet are usually the earliest signs of wrinkles on the face. Although crow’s feet usually start appearing with age premature wrinkles can also come up due to various reasons. Excessive exposure to sunlight and too much of smoking can damage the skin and form wrinkles. Pollution, improper lifestyle, and diet may also increase the chances of crow’s feet.
The skin starts to lose its moisture naturally due to ageing. However, it is also possible for other factors to cause premature aging. As a result, the skin becomes dry and thinner, the fats under the skin disappear, the elasticity of the skin is reduced, and the skin cannot retain its original shape. It consequently increases the chances of folds and creases on the skin.
Crow’s feet that come with age may be difficult to erase, but here are a few remedies you can try out to remedy the premature wrinkles that have appeared due to extraneous causes.
• Massage coconut oil or any other moisturizing lotions (preferable enriched with vitamin E) on the wrinkles before going to sleep.
• Apply a paste of turmeric powder and sugarcane juice, leave it dry, and then wash off with cold water.
• Rub freshly cut vegetables (cucumber, potato) and fruits (pineapple, papaya) on the wrinkles. You can also use the pulp of ripe papaya or banana and apply on your face.
• Use egg whites on the face and leave it dry before washing off with water.
• Apply a mixture of honey, milk cream, and olive oil on the wrinkled skin.
Besides these remedies you should also adopt a few preventive steps to ensure that wrinkles do not appear on the skin easily.
• Follow a healthy diet with plenty of vegetables and fruits.
• Avoid smoking altogether as it is found to cause extensive damage to the skin.
• Ensure that your skin does not become dry – use moisturizers and drink good amount of water throughout the day.
• Protect your skin from the sun’s rays – use a sunscreen lotion and wear protective clothing when going out in direct sunlight.
• Sleep properly and cut down on stress levels.
There are also some medical treatments available – medication and well as surgery – for erasing wrinkles. However, be cautious about them because they might produce some side effects. Therefore, consult with a doctor and understand the pros and cons before adopting these methods.
