How can i stop bad perspiration

Sweating or perspiring is important for the system, as the sweat glands expel toxic matter from the body. However, in some people the perspiration is a lot more than normal, and the problem gets worse when they suffer from body odor. Body odor is not caused by sweating, but by bacteria that accumulate on the skin and emanate foul smelling chemicals. You first need to find out what is causing the excessive perspiration in your case. The common reasons for excess sweating are suffering from a prolonged or chronic disease, consuming specific foods and beverages, Constipation, anxiety, and use of drugs. Most people make the mistake of dealing with sweat and body odor by applying antiperspirants and deodorants, which clog the pores and prevent the waste from getting expelled from the body. This can also cause skin cancer and various other skin disorders. You must therefore work on the causes instead and getting rid of the problem, in a healthy and natural way.

First of all, you must drink adequate water if you perspire a lot. Inadequate consumption of water is sometimes associated with excessive sweating, and in any case, drinking adequate amounts of water will replace the fluid you sweat out. You can also drink one cup of tomato juice everyday to control excessive perspiration. After you take a shower, you can apply lemon juice on your underarms or the areas that sweat the most. Alternatively, apply baking soda on those parts can also help control sweating and get rid of body odor. You can also mix baking soda and lemon juice and apply it on the areas that sweat a lot. Cleaning the underarms with a slice of potato is also an effective remedy in controlling excessive sweating and getting rid of body odor. It would also help you if you took a shower at least twice a day, and even thrice during summers. You can also soak in a bathtub of water with one cup of apple cider vinegar or a few drops of tea tree oil added to it. Vinegar and tea tree oil are both effective in killing bacteria that cause body odor and any other skin problems. You can also replace the deodorant with some natural products and save your skin from harm. Add a few drops of sandalwood oil or rose water in the bathtub and soak in it for 20 minutes. You can also mix two drops of essential oil in an ounce of water and use it as a spray. If all these measures don't help, you should consult a doctor.
