It is also being said that advertisements about alcohol have effect of the teenager’s mind and are prone to get attracted towards these substances. The percentage of teenagers consuming alcohol has gone up drastically, this has also led to uncontrolled behavior, and other lot of social problems.
Inhalant abuse is inhaling of substances which are able to give a ‘high’ to people.
Inhalant drugs are used by people of all classes, teenagers and even children. The reason why inhalant drugs are so famous is that these are easy to obtain and to not incur any legal problems. Even the drugs which are used to smoke can be inhaled, drugs abuse is prevalent in all countries of the world, not just the drugs, even those products which give a high when inhaled are used for inhalant abuse.
Substance abuse is being looked upon as a problem by several countries of the world. Since most of the abused substances are addictive in nature, non of the governments have really been successful in bringing control over substance abuse. Though several countries have raised the age bar for alcohol abuse and prohibited sale of alcohol for young people below certain age. Inhalant abuse is however, difficult to stop since most the products for inhalant abuse are available easily in market.
