Can you tell me the ingredients using whiskey, lemon juice, and honey? i have a cough because my sinuses are draining.

  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey and I teaspoon of lemon juice to whiskey. You can also add water and drink it up. It's good for congestion, sore throat and cough.
  • Boil water in a container and add some salt to it. After it cools a little, put 3 to 4 drops of the solution in both your nostrils with the help of an eye/ear dropper. While doing this, position your head upward and keep it there till the time you feel salt water in your throat. Immediately go to the bathroom and blow your nose. It will clear congestion and provide relief from sinus headache. You can repeat this process till your nose feel clear or 2 to 3 times a day.
  • Add 1/2 a spoon of any local gel or balm used to relieve cold, in boiling water. Cover your head with a towel and bend down and inhale the steam for 5 minutes. Blow your nose thereafter and repeat the process till the steam subsides. You can do this alternatively with the above mentioned remedy.
  • Heat a glass of water, add a spoonful of salt to it and stir it properly. Now, gargle from this water and continue it for 2 to 3 times a day. Blow your nose the moment you feel mucus in the nasal passage and you will also feel mucus in your throat. Spit it out and continue gargling.
