Body odor occurs due to bacterial growth on the body. When there is excessive sweat on the body, bacterial growth takes place very quickly. The odor is released when the bacteria break down the sweat into acids. You can take care of the problem of body odor through various home remedies;
  • Add a few drops of rosemary oil in a cup of water and mix well. Apply this to the areas most prone to sweating such as the underarms, chest and back. You can also substitute rosemary oil with tea tree oil as it is helpful in combating excessive sweating and body odor.
  • Take thin slices of potato and rub in the underarm area, neck and feet. This will control body odor and will also have a cooling effect on the body.
  • Extract the juice of fresh radish and add a few drops of glycerin. Apply this to the underarms, neck and feet.
  • Dab some baking soda under the arms, neck and other sweat prone areas of the body. This helps to control increased sweating.
  • Herbal teas are helpful in reducing body odor and excessive perspiration.
  • Cut a lemon in half and rub over the armpits. The acidity of the lemons helps to destroy body odor.
  • Sprinkle baby powder over the sweat prone areas to absorb excess moisture and prevent body odor.
  • It is also important to maintain good hygiene. Antibacterial herbal soaps such as chamomile and lemongrass soap help to reduce perspiration and body odor.

Try washing her arm pits with an antibacterial solution like alcohol (underarm odor is caused by bacteria) and then prinkle her arm pits with baking soda...Results are similar to using  "Arm & Hammer" deodorant
