Depending upon the "timing" of your burps, it may mean that you have an insufficient amount of "friendly" bacteria in your stomach. Your digestion may be insufficient and/or slow and your food is "putrifying" instead of being broken down. If this is also a symptom with flatus, you may have a slow transit time which creates more putrification. Or you may have some metabolic inconsistencies which create excess sulfur (the rotten egg smell.) http://www.countrydoc.com Dr. Karen Benton, Naturopathic Physician
