Advice to clean ear wax
How can I clean my ear wax? my body produces more than normal. thanks

Ear wax is produced by the sweat glands inside the outer ear canal. It is a normal byproduct of a healthy ear and plays two important functions:
1) Keeps the ear canal tissues lubricated and
2) Protects the eardrum from foreign particles as earwax traps dust, dirt and other things that enter your ear so they cant travel any further. .
Everyone makes ear wax, although some people make more than others.
You can clean your ear wax in the following ways:
1) A cheap and inexpensive home remedy is to put a few drops of either mineral oil or glycerin in both your ears to soften your ear wax. Allow excess to flow out of your ear.
2) Hydrogen Peroxide Method:
Hydrogen Peroxide is available at your local pharmacy. There are some cautionary measures before you try this out.
a) Do not try this remedy before flying.
b) Do not try this remedy if you have jaw pain or ear pain already present – it could worsen your condition. Hence, if jaw pain or ear pain is present show it to a specialist. If there is no pain already and just ear wax present, try the hydrogen peroxide method.
The Hydrogen Peroxide Method: Place a towel or napkin below your head. Lie down on your side on the bed (without pillow). Fill a dropper with 3% hydrogen peroxide and fill one ear with this. Expect to hear a fizzing sound after a few seconds. After a minute or two, add more peroxide. Wait for sometime. Again add more peroxide until the fizzing stops in about 10 – 15 mins. This indicates that the wax has dissolved. Shake off remaining liquid from your ear on the napkin or towel and repeat with the other ear. If it is time consuming, you can do the other ear on the next day.
Some tips:
Do not put anything sharp in your ears such as a safety pin, pencil tip or paper clip. It could damage your eardrum.
Do not use even a cotton tipped swab or finger because instead of cleaning the wax out of your ear, you are actually pushing the wax deeper like a plug over your ear drum.
