Dry mouth, also known as xerostomia, is a condition in which saliva production stops. This is mainly caused by drug administration / dehydration. Try these tips!
-Keep a water bottle in hand, wherever you go. Dry mouth and carbonated beverages don’t gel. -Alcohol is another beverage that dries the mouth. -Tobacco smoke burns the moisture out of your mouth and makes it dry. -Caffeine also makes a dry mouth worse. -Moisten the air around by putting a cool-air vaporizer. -Salivary glands can be stimulated by chewing on a piece of sugarless gum for 5 to 10 minutes every two hours.
