what do u need to heel a broken knee

  • Rest your leg as much as your can by lying down and putting it up on some pillows or by cutting down strenuous activities.
  • Crush some ice cubes, fill them in a plastic bag and apply them on the affected knee for at least 10 to 15 minutes 3 to 4 times everyday.
  • Tie the injured knee lightly with a cloth or an elastic bandage and keep it elevated on a stool. This will reduce swelling and pain.
  • Get a comfortable pair of shoes so as to provide support to your knee rather than increase the pain.
  • Make a warm paste of turmeric, wheat and castor in goat's milk or clarified butter and apply it to your knee 2 times a day. You can also apply turmeric powder and clarified butter and wrap your knee with a cloth to maintain heat. Change the dressing twice a day and continue it for 3 to 4 days.
  • In 1 cup of warm milk, add ½ tsp of turmeric powder and drink it once in the morning after your breakfast and once before going to bed at night.
  • If you are overweight, losing some pounds is a great idea as it will prevent your knee form carrying extra weight.
