5 Tips to Stay Fertile

Getting pregnant immediately after you quit smoking will leave your baby vulnerable to the residual chemicals from your cigarettes that are still in your system.
  3. Alcohol consumption should be discontinued as well. The maximum one should have is a glass of red wine on odd days of the week. Thus, three glasses of wine per week is the most you should have if you are trying to improve your fertility. Make sure that you speak to your doctor though before you consume any alcoholic beverages during pregnancy.
  4. While you should have a healthy, balanced diet there are some additional supplements as well as Vitamins you can take to increase fertility. In the fruit family: oranges, papayas, and other citrus fruit will help to treat fertility problems. You should also have sufficient milk and milk products. You can also steam eggplant and grind this to make a thin paste. Add this paste to a glass of slightly warm milk. Consume this everyday for a period of two months and this will help improve your fertility.
  5. Try to avoid white bread and white rice and instead switch to brown breads and brown rice. Also, avoid oily and fatty foods and substitute them for grilled and boiled foods which have less oily content. Excessive spiciness in your food should be avoided as well.
