Causes and Home Remedies for Pimples on Nose

When skin, sebum and hair cells group together, they form a plug which becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. This plug starts breaking down when a swelling occurs. The result of this breaking down is a pimple. Anyone can get pimples, but teenagers and young adults are more prone to them. Pimples are generally seen on the face but can also appear on the neck, back, shoulders or chest. Some of the symptoms of pimples are pain, pus, blemishes, scarring and extreme redness. When pimples are filled with pus, there is a possibility of a scar being left. Picking at the pimples or squeezing them only increases the possibility of a scar. Pimples are caused because of the blocking of the skin. There are numerous factors associated with pimples. They usually are caused because of hormonal changes in puberty and adolescence. Pregnancy, birth control pills, menstruation periods, medication, cosmetics and heredity conditions are some other reasons for the formation of pimples. Pregnancy, birth control pills and menstruation cycles cause tremendous hormonal changes which can cause pimples. Certain types of drugs are also responsible for blemishes and pimples. Use of cosmetics that might irritate the skin can also be a reason for pimples to show up. Quite a lot of people get pimples because of the parents and family history.

Home Remedy

There are a numerous home remedies for pimples. Fenugreek can help to get rid of pimples. Make a paste from fenugreek leaves and apply it on the pimple before going to sleep. Wash off the paste in the morning with some warm water. One can also use orange peels to treat pimples. Pound some orange peels combined with water and apply this to the pimples. Apply lemon juice or rub raw garlic on the pimple. Eat at least three cloves of garlic to clear the skin. Try applying grated cucumber on the face and neck to remove pimples.

How to Prevent Pimples?

To prevent pimples on the skin, one can practice clean skin habits. Using a mild cleanser in the morning, evening and before going to bed will keep the skin clean. Touching the skin from time to time only passes more dirt, oil, grime and bacteria which usually trigger pimples. Hence avoid touching the face repeatedly. Whenever you shave, shave with caution as even shaving can irritate the skin. Be careful when buying and applying cosmetic products. Make sure you buy good quality products. Considering an oily skin, try to buy products which are oil-free, greaseless, hypoallergenic or noncomedogenic. Make sure you remove your make up properly and completely.
