Gender Selection – MicroSort & Preimplantation, Safe Effective Solutions

Posted in Category : Women's Health

Do you know that now it is possible to select the gender of your baby? You can decide yourself whether you want a baby boy or a baby girl by the Gender Selection methods. Gender Selection is the ability to select a boy or a girl before you get pregnant by the use of some methods that will guide you in changing the odds for selecting the sex of your baby.

MicroSort: This is a process that separates the sperms by male and female using a process measuring the differences in DNA. Generally, any sample of sperm will contain 50% boy sperm and 50% girl sperm. The aim of MicroSort is to increase that rate. After sorting the samples, they are inserted in the woman’s body through intrauterine insemination or invitro fertilization and the enriched sperm sample is used for you to conceive.

Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis is another effective Gender Selection technique. The embryos created during an IVF are screened. A single cell is taken out from the embryo and the genetic material is tested. It uses invitro fertilization and biopsies on the embryo before transferring them back to the uterus.

The Shettles Method depends on the fact that the sperms travel and live in the reproductive tract for sometime. So, you can plan out your intercourse twelve hours before ovulation for a baby boy and many days before ovulation for a baby girl. To conceive a girl, it suggests having sex 2-4 days prior to ovulation to allow the Y-sperms to die before it comes in contact with the egg. Also avoid sexual positions that involve deep penetration. On the other hand, to conceive a boy, this theory suggests using the sexual positions that allows for deep penetration that prefers the faster but less active Y-sperm. The women must have orgasms if you are trying to conceive a boy.
