Acupressure for Treating Fatigue

Posted in Category : Acupressure

If you find that you are tired beyond the natural and normal amounts of fatigue that people generally experience, you can do other things along with administering acupressure to improve the situation. A combination will have more impact than just trying to adopt one method. The best pressure point for fatigue is the absolute center of your forehead. This will make you more alert and slowly drain away the fatigue. At the same time, you can also keep your eyes closed and rub all around them. This will help to move the blood around on your face a lot and will also help you to feel fresher. Pay close attention to the tops of your cheekbones for better results. Massaging your temples will also stimulate your pressure points and will help you to chase away tiredness. Another excellent remedy to keep from feeling exhausted is to stand straight and lift your arms over your head. Keep the fingers pointing upwards and keep stretching. Get on the tips of your toes and try to reach up as high as you possibly can. This will stretch your whole body and will also break away all the tiredness from it. Keep your eyes closed and try to stay this way as much as possible. Closer to a couple of minutes should have miraculous results.

If it is possible, you should also take in a short nap of about 20 minutes. This is one of the best ways to recharge almost completely. This is one of the most difficult things to do if it does not come naturally to you. But at the same time, it is also one of the most effective. Try and get up from your workplace and walk around a bit. This will also help you to feel better, as it will get the circulation going all over again. If you are sleepy and your exhaustion stems from this, you should go and splash some cool water on your face. This is one of the best ways of waking up fully and the water, especially in your eyes will be extremely useful in freshening you up completely. Drinking water is also extremely helpful in restoring your spirits. If you haven’t already, try and drink a whole glass of cold water at a single go. This makes a great difference to your levels of alertness. You could try a combination of these methods and adopt whatever works best for you.
