How can I prevent an outbreak of pimples?

In order to understand how to prevent pimples on the face, you need to know about the root cause of pimples and acne. This will help you in taking proper measures for preventing the outbreak of pimples. An outbreak of pimples takes place when the oil glands beneath hair follicles become hyperactive and secrete more oil than normal. This excessive oil secretion results in blockage of the skin’s pores, and the bacteria present in the clogged pores cause inflammation, which is what we refer to as pimples. This excessive oil secretion usually takes place due to hormonal changes.

So, the best way to prevent pimples on the face is to make sure that your skin’s pores do not get clogged. For this, you need to follow a good cleansing routine. Through the day, wash your face frequently with fresh cold water without using any soap. Before going to bed, you may use a good face wash to clean off the oil and dirt. There are several homemade washes that can also be used to clean the skin. Pastes and scrubs made with turmeric, curd, lemon, and wheat gram are popular cleansers. You can also use tea tree essential oil to clean your face; however, you must always dilute it before using it. If you are already suffering from the problem of pimples, as mentioned above, apart from cleansing a good balanced diet will also help in treating and preventing pimples. These are some of the good ways to get rid of pimples.
