I have got hair around my nipples. How do I get rid of them? Should I pluck them or not?

Most women notice sudden changes in their body when they reach puberty. It is at this time that they notice the sudden growth of hair on various parts of their body. Usually women also notice that they have hair growing around their nipples. This is a fairly common occurrence. Most women do have some amount of hair growing around their nipples. While in some cases the hair is fine and therefore hardly noticeable, in the case of other women the hair is dark and can cause a lot of embarrassment. Most women go through a phase when they worry about the hair around their nipples. Although the hair is natural, most women seem to believe that they shouldn't be having so much hair - that this makes them less feminine. Although some amount of body hair is natural, if you notice a sudden growth in the hair on your body, you should seek help form a doctor since this could indicate some other medical problems.

Since the nipples and the area around the nipples are both very sensitive most women worry about the best way to deal with the hair on their nipples. The easiest way to get rid of the hair around the nipples is by cutting it using a small pair of scissors. However, you should also be prepared for the hair to grow back in a very short time. Cutting the hair once will mean that you should be willing to cut it regularly and keep it short.

Another way to get rid of the hair around your nipples is by plucking it out. Plucking is a painful process and when you pluck out the hair growing around the tender and sensitive skin around your nipples, then you are bound to experience some pain. However if you do decide to do this you should ensure that you seek the help of a professional who will do it in such a way that it will not cause you any pain of discomfort. If the hair is not plucked out properly, then this could lead to a hair follicle becoming infection. An infection will mean pain and discomfort and also entail a visit to the doctor. Shaving the hair is another option. However, this can be painful too. In addition to the pain that you will experience, you will also find it difficult to shave the hair yourself. You should seek the help of a professional and ensure that you take all the precautions possible so that you do not cut yourself.
