Is there a recipe for an oatmeal bath similar to the aveeno oatmeal product?

Oatmeal bath can be easily prepared at home which would prove friendly to your pockets and also be effective at the same time. For this simply take a cup of unflavored instant oats or slow cooking oats or quick oats (all of them work equally well). Now grind these in a food processer very fine till you get a consistency like a powder. To test if your blending is appropriate – add a tsp of this oat powder in a glass of warm water. If this powder readily absorbs water and makes the water milky with a silk feeling then the powder is of perfect consistency. Pour a cup of milk and oat powder in a tub with running warm water and mix it well with your hand for even distribution. Get in to this tub slowly and gradually as oats will make the tub very slippery. Soak yourself in the tub for 15-20 minutes and then pat dry the skin (avoid scratching). Do not make the rinse with soap. Oatmeal baths are commonly used for conditions like diaper rash, eczema, chicken pox, insects bites, anal itching, sun burn or dry skin.
