blister bandaids
suggested by Susan
on Saturday, May 31, 2008
I had a deep fissure in my right heel for years. It got so deep that it would become a little infected and painful. No amount filing with heel files or moisturizing would help to completely heal it. I used "blister band aids" for about three weeks on the area. It started healing from the inside out. Some band aids are better than others. I like "Bandaid Advanced Healing Blister Ampoules". When I jog I always wear one. In the bed, the bandaids tend to roll off, so I use Activ-Flex Blister Block Stick. I found these in the bandages aisle of the drug store. I've tried so many things for years. These items healed them completely, but I still have a "crease" that could potentially open up again. My heel looks fine with moisturizer and blister block with flip flops or open backed shoes, but I still always wear a blister bandaid or blister block otherwise.

Allow me to share this with everyone. For many years I have suffered in silence as my cracked heels worsen every single day. Tried so many products to no avail. Luckily I found this product, Bencoolen Virgin Coconut Oil Cracked Heel Repair Cream. Have used it for 2 months now and I am proud to say it really works! Most of my cracks have cured almost fully. On my further read up, I further understand why virgin coconut oil is used. In its natural process, it is high in vitamins, minerals and possesses the miraculous healing power of mother's milk, amino acid and nature's natural healers combined. Hope those having those having these cracked heels problem will benefit from it. Try it! It really works. Thank You.

Balm from the Butter
suggested by Susan
on Saturday, April 12, 2008
Try one of the all natural, handmade balms I make at my home studio in Loveland, CO. See the testimonals and reviews about people using this to heal cracked, bleeding feet. The Herbal Gardener balm is one of them and it contains sweet almond, avocado, and jojoba oils, beeswax, avocado and shea butters, alovera, coconut and grapeseed oils, tea tree oil, and citrus and juniper oils, all infused with herbs of arnica, calendula, comfrey, rosemary, St. John's wort, and echinacea. I moved to Colorado in 2000 and my feet just became crispy and nasty so I bought all kinds of products. When none of them worked, I made my own and then eventually created a small business. I know this sounds like a commercial but the products work and are natural.

CRACKED HEELS

Instead of putting on socks after applying your lotion of choice, I use either rubber gloves or wrap in saran wrap, then put socks over this. The lotion or treatment you are using is absorbed into your skin rather they rubbing off onto your socks. Do at bedtime for best results, works well on hands also.

no more cracked, bleeding heels and feet
suggested by Mike
on Saturday, February 23, 2008
Now in my mid 40's, I have been plagued for the past several winters by dry, cracked and bleeding heels and feet. I have tried several remedies without much success. After sifting through dozens of remedies I have FINALLY come up with one that has worked for several weeks now. I have been using sandpaper (100 grit and higher) to gradually reduce the excess calloused skin from the affected area and have applied a moderate amount of shea butter to the entire foot. Try to sand the dry, dead skin off over several days. I did too much at first and had stinging feet for a day or two. I do this before showering then apply the shea butter after. I believe that the shea butter helps retain the moisture. I also apply it just before going to bed. What a relief it is not to have sore, bleeding feet. The shea butter is inexpensive and I purchased it at my local Walmart. It has a pleasant odor as well. Hope this helps.

URINE REMEDY!
suggested by elena

I've been suffering from cracked and bleeding heels for some years, trying every cream, lotion, vaseline on the market, but nothing helped! My pedicurist recommended to pee in a recipient and then soak a cotton pad in the urine and wad it to the heels, let it dry, without washing it off. It was a miracle! The painful cracks healed in less than 2 days! It may sound disgusting and a bit weird but this is the only thing that works!
