Urinary Tract

The urinary tract is similar to the kidneys.

The urinary system is made up of two ureters, two kidneys, the urethra and the bladder. The kidneys and urinary tract perform various duties. The kidneys sort through waste products and eliminate them from the bloodstream creating urine. The urinary tract as well as the kidneys, get rid of all the waste our body stores but they also preserve the body’s balance of water.

They make sure that our tissues receive enough water in order for them to function correctly and be healthy.

Without these two organs, all the bad toxins in our body would get the better of us and increase in the blood and bring us to unsafe levels. Like the rest of the organs in our body, the urinary tract can obtain diseases and other complications. The more often problem that occurs is the urinary tract infection, also known as UTI.  It is an infection located in the urinary and is mainly caused by bacteria.

The infection can take place anywhere along the urinary tract, in the urethra, the ureters, the bladder or the kidneys. Most of the urinary tract infections occur in the lower urinary tract, the bladder and in the urethra. Both men and women can suffer from urinary tract infection. Infection tends to occur more frequently to females than males, this is because females have a shorter urethra, which is found close to the anus.

Infection symptoms normally are stinging pain or burning sensation while urinating, urinary incontinence, blood in urine and strong or bad smell in urine. Urine incontinence usually occurs only at night time. This is the incapability to control your bladder. Urine incontinence is when you cannot control the flow of urine from your body.

In this case, the kidneys are exhaustedly overworked.

Kidney diseases are common and a serious problem to anyone, of any age and any sex.  Any sickness or disorder that affects the kidneys is classified as kidney diseases.  Kidney diseases can be from many different things. It could be as infection based on bacteria, an serious injury, shock, recent heart failure, poisoning, alcohol abuse or drug overdose. When there is a breakdown of the kidneys, it can end up being kidney failure.

If left unattended you kidneys will stop functioning and may eventually deteriorate.

Kidney stones can also be formed from urinary tract. Kidney stones are when the passages get blocked and urine cannot freely flow through and be disposed of.
