What is Brain Cancer?

Brain cancer, like other forms of cancer, occurs due to the abnormal growth of cells. Cancer may develop due to abnormal growth of cells in the other organs of the body which spreads to the brain through the bloodstream. The abnormal growth of cells is known as a tumor. In some cases, tumors may be noncancerous. The treatment for brain tumors depends on the type, size and location of the tumor.
