Keep the following points in mind to regain your lung capacity after lung intubation.
- Avoid smoking, drinking alcohol and chewing tobacco completely. This will help to increase your lung capacity to a greater extent.
- If you are susceptible to cold and cough then try to avoid any episodes, as this can put strain on the lungs.
- Take appropriate rest and avoid any heavy activity that can put strain on the body.
- Perform some minor simple breathing exercises. You can consult a specialist before starting them.
