Health advice on continuous menstruation

I have been menstruating for a month.It will almost stop, then get heavy again.I was told Wild Yam may help.This happened 2yrs ago and I was given a hormone pill.Please help?

Health advice for continuous menstruation
  • Add 1 tsp of lemon juice to 1 glass of lukewarm water. Drink it 2 or 3 times a day to control blood flow.
  • Cook 1 banana flower and take it with 1 cup of milk once a day.


  • Ground a handful of apple leaves and make its paste. Take 1 tsp of this paste with water once daily.
  • Place an ice pack on your abdomen and lie down with your feet over 2 or 3 pillows.


    You can also try doing hot compress on the lower abdomen to relieve pain.
  • Ibuprofen may increase your bleeding. Tylenol is a good substitute.
  • Add 1 tsp of coriander seeds to 2 cups of water and boil it till it reduces to half its quantity. Mix sugar for taste and drink it 3 times daily.
  • Ground 10 fresh buds of fig and apply it below the navel. Leave it for 3 or 4 hours and then wipe it off. You can repeat it 2 or 3 times a day.
  • Take 2 tbs of black strap molasses and 2 tbs of apple cider vinegar with 1 glass of water in the mornings.
  • Avoid drinking tea or coffee and take as much rest as possible.
  • You can also do some light exercises especially meant to relieve cramps and reduce bleeding.
