How can I get rid of gum pain?

The gums are the fleshy part in the mouth located just below the teeth. The teeth actually anchor themselves in the gums. Some people have excessively sensitive gums which makes it difficult for them to consume food and drinks that are either too hot or too cold. This sensitivity may also lead to the development of pain during food consumption and even at other times. Gum pain relief may be achieved through the use of various toothpastes or creams that can be prescribed by a dentist to help soothe the area.

It is also important to note that gum problems may be associated with vitamin deficiencies and other nutritional deficiencies. With this being the case, it is important to ensure that one is not a victim of this type of deficiency. Therefore, it may be necessary to check the body for any deficiency, especially if one is suffering from other potentially related symptoms. When one cures the deficiency, the health of the gums should improve automatically. In some cases, gum pain is associated with weak teeth as well. Therefore, one may need to figure out the underlying cause that is related to the health of the teeth rather than the gums.

You probably have something stuck in the gums there or you have a pocket where the gums have receeded and infection has gotten in. Use a water pick to try and flush what ever it is out. Use some anbisol and tylenol for pain if that doesn't work see the dentist.
