Early Menstrual Cycle

I am getting my periods after every 15 day. Please tell me some solutions and help me please.

There are several factors that affect a woman’s menstrual cycle. Menstruation generally takes place every 26- 32 days; however, the number of days in between subsequent periods will vary from one woman to another. While there may be variations in the frequency or for how long it lasts, any sudden change should not be dismissed. Eating habits, sudden changes, physical and mental trauma, and stress can take their toll on a woman’s body and can cause such changes. Having two periods in a month is a rather common menstrual problem and is generally symptomatic by nature. This means that it is not a problem in itself but is actually a symptom of an underlying problem. It is necessary to get a complete check-up for an accurate diagnosis.

Too frequent periods are those that occur in less than 26 days from the previous period. If this happens just once in a way, it is normal and can be chalked down to changes in environment and health. For example, it is not uncommon for a period to occur ahead of schedule in cases where the woman has suffered from a serious ailment. Too frequent periods also occur at the beginning of a girl’s menstruation cycle. This is completely normal and your body just requires a little time to get used to the changes that are occurring. It generally takes about 6 months to settle into a regular cycle. Too frequent periods are classified as Abnormal Uterine Bleeding. Too frequent periods can also be caused by more serous health conditions like hormonal problems or even tumors. PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is another common cause of irregular periods. If you experience any sharp pain or abdominal cramps along with your periods, you should visit your doctor immediately. If you have any history of hormonal problems in your family, you would need to bring this to the attention of your doctor. If you have had an ectopic pregnancy or have miscarried in the past, your doctor will need to be informed of this as these are conditions that can affect menstruation.

You will need to get a definite diagnosis before you can get any treatment. However, you can make sure that you have a healthy diet with plenty of green vegetables as these are good sources of iron. Iron is extremely important as a deficiency of iron can lead to anemia which can also cause too frequent periods.
