My husband passes blood in his stool. He says it’s not painful. This mostly happens when he eats spicy food. Could this be piles?

It is really important to check this as continued bleeding, even in small amounts. can cause someone to be chronically anaemic, ice will reduce piles but if this is not enough to control the bleeding then proprietary haemorrhoid creams will constrict the blood vessels sufficiently to stop the bleeding. Until this bleeding stops it would be better not to let your husband eat spicy foods.
